Homemade candies are candies, which consist of three main ingredients. Their preparation process is not only simple, but also captivating, especially for children - they gladly participate in modeling sweets! The taste of these caramels resembles those of the trade. They cannot be broken with their teeth, but, after softening, they can be chewed. The necessary ingredients are the cheapest. Try to prepare this delicacy! We are sure you will be satisfied with the result!

INGREDIENT:

-a powder of lemon salt (or lemon juice)

-flour (starch, cocoa powder) - for rolling.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1.Put the sugar and water in a saucepan with a thick bottom.

2.Put the pot on a moderate heat. Bring the contents to the boil, then add the lemon salt (thanks to it, the caramel composition becomes more elastic and acquires a sour taste) and mix.

3. Reduce the flame to a minimum and boil the syrup until golden, stirring regularly. When you add a few drops of syrup in cold water, they will not spread, but will maintain their shape and be elastic.

4. Meanwhile, grease a mold (preferably metallic) and a silicone spatula with oil. Put the form in a bowl with ice-cold water.

5. Take the syrup off the heat and pour it immediately into the prepared form. Performing alternate folding movements toward the center of the tray and stretching toward its edges, cool the caramel to body temperature so that your hands don't burn.

6. Transfer the lightly cooled caramel to the table sprinkled with a little flour.

7. Roll it in flour and fold it into an envelope. Then round it and give it the shape of a pretzel. Start stretching the pretzel, gradually turning it into a kind of stick. Continue to stretch it and fold it with your hands, rolling it periodically in flour (as needed - do not overdo it). Gradually the caramel will acquire a pearly hue.

8. When you feel that it has cooled almost completely and maintains its shape well, spread the caramel in the form of a thin and uniform stick, with the same thickness along its entire length.

9. Roll out the stick obtained through the flour and cut it into pieces.

10. Roll the candies very well in flour. Put them all with flour on a plate and let them cool for 3-4 hours (or overnight).

11. Transfer them to a sieve and sift all the flour from their surface.

12. Serve them with great pleasure!

The flour gives the caramels a special taste and a softer texture. Otherwise they come out strong.

1. Mix the cream with the sugar and a little soft butter (at room temperature). Put the resulting mixture in a small saucepan.

3. In a short time the mixture will acquire a consistency similar to that of condensed milk. Stir constantly so that it does not stick to the bottom. If you want a darker caramel color, cook longer. The mixture will thicken and be harder to mix. At this stage, mix in a faster tempo. When you get the desired color, take the pan off the heat and add the remaining butter. Stir again in a faster tempo.

4. Immediately pour the mixture into small molds or a larger form, preventively greased with butter. While the mixture is still hot, cut the caramels with a wet knife.

5. Allow to cool. Remove the shape and cut the caramels of the portion to the desired size.

• 50 g of coconut oil
